• The two papers coming out in the ICTCM proceedings in 2011 are listed. 
• The 45-minute talk/miniworkshop on MATLAB I am giving at the ICTCM in March is listed. 
• I included an invited talk on the inverted classroom model that I gave at Franklin College's High School Math Day. The talk itself, in Prezi form, is here. 
• Two talks I am giving at the upcoming Joint Math Meetings are listed. 
• Two talks I am scheduled to give at next year's ASEE conference are listed -- my attendance at that conference is pending acquisition of funding, which is not a done deal at this point, but at least the talks were peer-reviewed and accepted.

I'm on Google Voice, so you can call or text me. I've added a handy widget to the Contact page so you can do this directly from the computer. I think the way that it works is you click the widget, enter your name and phone number, and Google Voice will connect your phone with my GVoice account. Mendeley is a free, open-source tool for managing research papers and finding others who share your research interests. Nothing too dramatic -- I changed the design and color scheme (do you like it?) and deleted Dangerous Tasks from my list of blogs on the "Web Presence" page (since I no longer maintain that blog). 


I'll be attending the Higher Education Summit at Blog Indiana 2009 coming up on August 13. Blog Indiana is the state's largest social media conference, and at the higher education summit I'll be attending sessions on using Facebook in the classroom, getting college administrators to use Twitter, and other similar talks. • I've been named to the editorial board of Mathematics Exchange, a journal of undergraduate research published through Ball State University. My role on the board will be mainly to recruit undergraduates to publish their stuff and to recruit mathematicians to referee, and possibly to do a little refereeing myself. Math Exchange is a great journal, very well-suited for undergraduates doing any kind of research or independent study, and I'm excited about forming this relationship with the fine folks who put that journal out.

• I found out last week that I will definitely be attending the International Conference on Technology in Collegiate Mathematics this coming March. I went to the ICTCM last year and had a fabulous time. I'm currently vetting some ideas for talks and workshops to give at the ICTCM this year, and once I get those figured out and submitted, they'll be added to my CV.

• And speaking of Ball State, I've been invited to come up there in the spring and give a mathematical talk. I'll be talking either about digital signatures like I did at Benedictine University last April or about my work with cycle decompositions of columnar transposition ciphers.
